I joined the local camera club (Frankston Photographic Club) to learn how to use Adobe PhotoShop. I was asked to become the Social Secretary. A great role that needed learning, refining and improving. The role was to organise events that club members could

• participate in,
• learn about their equipment (uses and constraints)
• try new, novel and interesting photographic techniques and
• have opportunities to take images for submission to competitions (club, interclub, state, national and international).

As part of working to organise the Weekend Workshops I

• Defined a a six step guide for members to take images for competitions and share their experiences with others
  • Plan >> Take >> Edit >> Print >> Submit >> Tell
• Developed Weekend Workshop documentation for
  • approval by the committee
  • member information and
  • future planning
• Recorded some Weekend Workshop Summaries to document our adventures and to inspire members to come along to future events
